After a fantastic two weeks of sailing, chilling out and spending time with my husband and children, I’m back. A huge thank you to Sarah and Michelle who helped keep Peekaboo running along as normal.
While I was away eating too much souvlaki, lots has been happening. In fact, it’s all be going so well that I feel as though I could hop on a plane and return to the 32C heat as opposed the grey drizzle that I’ve come home to.
Here’s what’s been happening….
Peekaboo client Third Door was shortlisted in TWO business awards – the Mumpreneur awards and the Mumandworking Awards. Congrats to Shazia. Please click the Mumandworking award link and click the Like symbol next to Shazia’s name.
Wendy Shand of Tots to Travel (a client of Peekaboo’s since 2006!) had a very busy week being interviewed on BBC Radio Northampton, interviewed by Woman magazine, was asked to be a panelist at the Place in the Sun show later this year and went onto Michael Ball’s show, to be aired on 23 August. You can read all about her celeb hobnobbing here
Mamababybliss has been getting some rave reviews for its new Bliss Stick. You can read them at the following blogs and sites:
Emma-Jane’s appointment of Peekaboo has been picked up by Nursery Online and Nursery Industry, and Nursery Online has also run a story on the new product lines the company will be introducing later this year.
And there has been plenty of media interest from the long lead publications for a car seat safety campaign from Morrck that we’ll be talking about as the weather gets colder.
Lastly, Peekaboo was named as a semi-finalist in the Mumpreneur Awards. We got a badge and everything. Ta da!
So it’s all systems go at Peekaboo HQ. I shall be donning my superhero cape shortly as I attempt to squeeze in the rest of my work with reduced childcare thanks to the holidays. Bring on Sept!
