Feeling stressed? I might have a solution

Maybe it’s the end of the school year and all the frantic end of term activities. Maybe it’s knowing how few working days I have left before the summer holidays begin. Maybe it just the cumulative effects of being half way through a busy year. But like so many other mums at the moment, my stress levels are shooting skyward. My shoulders are rock hard. My body and brain feel exhausted and I’m finding myself a teensy bit snappy.

So it was incredibly timely that yesterday I got sent a big box of product samples from my lovely client Justina of www.mamababybliss.com.  Justina has created a new Uplifting Bliss Stick. It is the size of a lipstick tube, filled with natural oils that you dab onto your pressure points when you need a little lift.

So at 10.30pm last night when I could feel myself flagging, I grabbed a sample and dabbed liberally. Then I stopped and breathed in. It was lovely. Calming but energising at the same time. I managed to keep on working to get through my to do list before collapsing in a small heap.

Here’s what is in it:

  • Lime Oil: lifts depression and energizes a tired mind, while easing breathing and assisting digestion.
  • Bergamot: for depression, feeling fed-up, respiratory problems, colds and flu, PMS and SAD.
  • Geranium: helps relieve stress, mild depression, PMS, anxiety and tension, menopausal problems and for general energizing.

It is perfect for mums suffering from baby blues or lack of sleep, but just as useful for your average mile-a-minute mum who needs to take 30 seconds out every now and then to breathe… two… three and keep on going. And if you’re going to stop and breathe, you might as well breathe in something natural and uplifting, designed to give you an extra little boost right?

So while the Bliss Stick isn’t quite as relaxing as a two week holiday on a tropical island with daily massages, it certainly is useful to pop into your handbag and have on hand whenever you need a little boost.

Any bloggers or journalists out there who would like to try out a sample to review, get in touch and I’ll send you a sample.
